Terms and Conditions

The Deluxe Standard is a premium mobile car valeting service. By booking a service, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

Service agreement

By placing a booking with The Deluxe Standard, you agree to receive mobile car valeting services in accordance with the selected package and these Terms. The Deluxe Standard reserves the right to refuse service for vehicles in conditions beyond our scope, including but not limited to hazardous waste, excessive biohazards (e.g. mould, vomit), or undisclosed severe soiling.

 

Scope of Services

Each valet service is delivered with the highest care using premium products and equipment. While we aim to achieve the best possible result, some imperfections (e.g., permanent stains, damaged paint, or worn trim) may not be fully restorable. Extreme conditions such as excessive pet hair, sand, tar, or tree sap may incur additional charges or require rescheduling depending on severity.

 

Booking and scheduling

A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm bookings. Appointments are available by request and subject to availability.

While we accept client time preferences, confirmed time windows will be communicated in advance to account for traffic, prior appointments, and setup time.

Services may be rescheduled in the event of adverse weather or operational delays. Clients will be notified promptly.

We understand that delays can happen, but to keep our schedule running smoothly and respect other clients, a £10 late arrival fee will be applied if you arrive more than 10 minutes past your scheduled appointment time. This fee helps cover any disruption caused by the delay, including rescheduling or reduced service time. If no one is present or contactable within 20 minutes of your scheduled appointment, we will consider this a no-show and we will leave the premises.

If you anticipate being late, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss options.

 

Access Requirements

Clients must ensure:

The vehicle is legally accessible (e.g., driveway or legal parking space).

There is sufficient room to work around the vehicle.

That access to water and electricity is made available (unless previously agreed otherwise).

Failure to meet access conditions may result in cancellation.

Cancellations and rescheduling

We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or changes.

The Deluxe Standard reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any booking due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.

Payments and pricing

A non-refundable £40 deposit is required to secure all bookings. This deposit is deducted from the final service total. Remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the service unless prepaid online. A late arrival fee will be applied if you arrive more than 10 minutes past your scheduled appointment time. 

We accept cash and most major card payments.

Prices listed may be subject to change without notice. If additional work is required (e.g. excessive soiling, pet hair, tar removal), this will be assessed upon arrival and quoted before the valet begins.

 

Refunds and satisfaction

All services are final and non-refundable.

If you are unsatisfied with the results, please contact us within 24 hours. We will assess the situation and may offer a complimentary re-clean at our discretion if an issue is found to be our fault.

 

Vehicle condition and liability

The Deluxe Standard is not liable for:

Pre-existing damage or wear and tear.

Mechanical or cosmetic issues not caused by our work.

Damage arising from aftermarket parts or modifications.

Items left in the vehicle (please remove valuables before the appointment).

All services are fully insured under public liability and treatment risk insurance.

Damage Disclaimer

By booking a service with The Deluxe Standard, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following:

While every care is taken during the valeting process, The Deluxe Standard cannot be held responsible for pre-existing damage, including but not limited to worn or aged paintwork, degraded leather or trim, loose badges, trims, or sensitive electronics.

 

Services such as stain removal, pet hair removal, or tar removal are performed with appropriate products and tools, but results cannot be guaranteed and we accept no liability if the surface is already compromised or damage occurs as a result of prior neglect.

 

Where interiors are heavily soiled or contaminated, additional effort will be made to restore cleanliness; however, The Deluxe Standard is not liable for any wear or damage revealed or worsened during cleaning.

Any concerns regarding a vehicle’s condition should be discussed before the service begins.

By proceeding with the booking, the client confirms they understand and accept this policy.

 

Engine Bay Cleaning:
While every precaution is taken when cleaning engine compartments; including avoiding sensitive components and using safe, low-pressure methods. The Deluxe Standard cannot be held liable for any electrical, mechanical, or sensor-related issues that arise following an engine bay clean.

Modern engine bays can contain exposed or aging components that may react unpredictably to moisture or cleaning products.

By booking this service, the client acknowledges the risk and authorises The Deluxe Standard to proceed with the clean at their own discretion.

 

Photos and marketing

We may take photos or videos of your vehicle before and after the service for quality control and promotional use on social media or our website.

If you do not wish for your vehicle to appear in marketing, please notify us when booking.

 

Customer data and privacy

We collect basic personal details (name, contact number, address) for the purpose of confirming appointments, follow-ups, and occasional promotions. Your data is securely stored and never shared with third parties.

 

Change to terms

These Terms of Service may be updated periodically. All changes will be posted on our website. By continuing to book services, you accept the most recent version of these terms.
